Exploring the Bible

I normally open my bible and start reading the Psalms but today when I opened the bible, I decided to read what every the sprit and my fingers turn to. Remember the old “BellSouth term- let your fingers to the walking” Well, I did and it took me to the book of “JOB”…how fitting since this also spells job-employment. I guess this hit home because my husband was working for a temporary agency and the position is a temp to perm position. Well everything was going good and they promise to hire him but there is a waiting period. Well, they did not do a good job of communication that and like most people including me the human aspect takes over instead of believing there is a reason behind all of this. In some temp to perm position you continue to work there and then you become permanent employee. So, I started reading Job 33-37 and my eyes open up. Job 35:1 ….Do you think this to be just? Do you say, it is my right before God! WOW! Then, I started reading some more….It talked about Elihu and I guess his struggle rejecting “GOD” and his pride and sins; and how “GOD” surely does not hear empty cries… It also talked about “One who is perfect in Knowledge which is with you” and judgment and who has the right to judge. I say all of this to say, “GOD” is great and for what every reason we cannot speak with out Knowledge for why he does what he does…All we can do is wait on him and be patient and humble ourselves. He knows what is needed and he will guide us in the direction that we should go. Job 33:29 Behold, God does all these things twice, there times, with a man to bring back his should from the pit. He will continue to make us abundant as long as we stay focused on him and his word. Know one can make judgment because this is “GOD” place…
