Praying
Today, I venture out to Luke 11, 1:13…We all find ourselves praying and praying for all different reasons, people, places or things. Sound, as if I am describing a Noun. However, I would have never imagined that the Bible would give you instruction on how to pray. When, I began this chapter it read just like basic instruction that where familiar from bible classes before, but what really click was the fact that I remember when I was younger my mother made us recite the “Lords Prayer”. I did not realized how important this was at the time, but the older I get it serves me and has so much meaning for those of us who can relate to just the beginning. “Farther, hollowed be thy name”, WOW this is a very powerful beginning but this act as our dialogue with Jesus, can you start with out it of course but that would be like not respecting Jesus. That is just my opinion of course some people just start talking to him, no intro but I say hey. If the bible has, a lot to offer why not use it and begin your talk with Jesus the right way. He has put a manual together for you to follow if you just read and listen to what he has to say, he will definitely guide you in the right direction. It might not be what you want but that is what you will get. I know, I am always amazed and this just puts me closer to him and helps me understand just why he is so wonderful.
