GRACE IS A FUNNY THING

When we strip away some of the "problems" in Genesis - we still see the evidence of the hand of God through the grace that abounds. Therein the inspiration of the Holy Spirit holds sway. Joseph wasn't exactly a saint when his brothers went over board (some of them anyway) and faked his death while selling him as a commodity into slavery. prison, betrayal and more awaits him in Egypt, yet God opens a door and he chooses not the path of bitterness, but of redemption. Through the gifts and blessings of God, Joseph saves a nation and more from utter starvation. With revenge on his mind against his brothers, he breaks down in the midst of it, in tears, and embraces them in a moment of forgiveness and joy. Behold, the power of Grace!
